About Elizabeth Jackson, ACNS-BC
Elizabeth “Beth” Jackson, ACNS-BC, CLS, FNLA, has worked in cardiology since 1999 and in collaboration with Dr. Chafizadeh as an ANCC board certified Clinical Nurse Specialist since 2003. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science at Texas A&M University. After working a few years in pharmaceutical research and neuropsychology, she completed her Masters of Science in Nursing and graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin.
Beth became a Clinical Lipid Specialist (cholesterol specialist) in 2007 and is a Diplomate of the Accreditation Council for Clinical Lipidology. She was also honored to be awarded the recognition of Fellow of the National Lipid Association (NLA). She has served on the board and as president of the Southwest Chapter, now continues to serve on the national board of the NLA.
She has a passion for helping others and strives to help patients achieve optimal health and wellness within a diagnosis of heart disease, but also for cardiovascular disease prevention. Complimenting her interest in preventative lifestyle management, Beth is also certified in Plant Based Nutrition through Cornell University.
Her days off are spent enjoying the outdoors with her husband and two daughters.
